Why are we launching GERAF?
Every fund starts somewhere. Here's ours. "When I was looking to deploy my own capital across the market, I was surprised at how few world-class global funds existed in our country for the commodities complex," says Michel Mamet, GERAF's Founder & CIO. "That really led me to thinking about whether there was a business opportunity here." Two years, one strategic review, and a decade of backtesting later — GERAF was born.

What does GERAF actually invest in?
"The acronym stands for Gold, Energy and Resources Alpha Fund," says our Founder and CIO Michel Mamet. "What we're trying to do is create a fund for wholesale investors to get exposure to real assets — the commodities complex — with a global lens, across companies that are fast growing."
